6 Visual Components of a Full Kitchen Remodel

Remodeling your kitchen can be as extensive or as minimal as you’d like it to be. Maybe you’re thinking of reconfiguring the entire layout to account for more eating space, prep areas, or storage. Perhaps you’d like to upgrade your kitchen and replace its run-down cabinets, old appliances, and outdated flooring. Whatever your wishes for a newly updated kitchen, the experts at MasterWorks Painters have you covered. While we take care of the entire project on your behalf, you do get to choose the type of visual components that are featured in your new kitchen space. Consider these six options during your next full kitchen remodel.

1. Cabinets

There are several options available in regards to new cabinetry for your new kitchen. Custom or semi-custom cabinets come in a wide variety of colors, styles, and materials. You can also keep your existing cabinets if they’re in good condition and have them refaced in order to change their entire look.

2. Countertops & Backsplash

Simply changing up the countertops and backsplash can make a world of difference in your home. A few of the more popular countertop options include granite, quartz, soapstone, marble, or solid-surface materials. We can help you choose a backsplash tile that will complement your new countertops.

3. Lighting

New lighting can add a completely different look to your kitchen. Some options to consider are ambient lights, such as track lighting and recessed lighting, and task lights like under-cabinet lighting and pendants.

4. Flooring

Just as there are several options for countertops and backsplash, there are almost as many options for flooring. There is everything from beautiful hardwood floors and eco-friendly cork material to affordable yet stylish laminate and industrial-looking concrete.

5. Paint

When having your kitchen updated, it can be easy to forget about the walls. You may want to choose a color of paint that enhances the new space. Colors like white, gray, blue, red, and yellow are welcoming and popular for kitchens.

6. Appliances

If you want to completely remodel your kitchen, having new energy-efficient appliances installed can boost the function and appearance of your new eating area. Otherwise, if your appliances work just fine and you’d like to save on the overall budget, we can certainly use and install the existing appliances.
